Add Related Keywords To Your Engine

Benefits Of Using RKS
There are several reasons for implementing Related Keywords functionality on your site but the foremost is the increase in search traffic that it would generate. Results will obviously vary with the site but in our experience most sites should see at least a 10-30% increase in search traffic resulting from the addition of a related keywords feature on the result page.

Requirements & Performance
The current public release of our RKS server is written in 'C' and takes up approximatly 65Meg of RAM. Response times will vary according to the load and speed of your machine but you should generally see a throughput of 120-160 queries per second on average. More than enough for most sites. Although written in C only Linux or other Unix like platforms is currently supported. For web sites powered by MS-Windows we suggest pulling our RKS XML feed.

Setup & Integration
In most cases, the server can be installed and running in about 15 minutes. Give us a temporary account and we'll even do the basic install for you. Once the RKS server is running, it only takes a few additional lines of client code in your search application to start integrating related keywords into your results page. In fact, if your front-end application is written in Perl it only takes about 25 lines of code to create the get_related_terms() function. Yes, we do supply you the 25 lines of perl code.

Server Pricing
The current site license for RKS is $5,000 and includes one hour of free installation. A site license allows you to display the related keyword data along side the search results of your web site. For sites wishing to republish this data along with their application outside of their web site to perhaps xml partners a special OEM distribution license will be required.

Monthly XML Access  *New
Sites that don't necessarily want to run RKS on their own machines can easily purchase monthly access to one of our RKS servers here at Searchwho. Pricing is based on the number of queries per month your site would generate.
